T'Kea LeGrande

Owner and Artistic Director

T'Kea is a Philadelphia, PA native. Starting as a student in a local studio and studying with the original philadanco school, T'Kea always knew she was meant to be on stage. While in high school she trained at Touch of Class in west Chester PA under the Expertise of Mrs. Debbie Apalucci and The 76ers Dance Team. After High School she relocated to Orlando FL, where she received her degree in performing arts from Valencia Community College. At Valencia she studied and performed many forms of dance under the teachings of popular dance companies such as Limon and Ailey II. As a member of Valencia Dance program, T'Kea promoted the program on TV commercials, radio, and billboards all over central Florida.

During her Time in Florida, T'Kea has performed and Choreographed for the popular girl band, Cassiopeia. After college T'Kea relocated to her home town where she accepted a position as the artistic director of the dance program at the Crozer Keystone Healthplex. There she taught Ballet, Hip-Hop, Caribbean cardio, and Modern dance to all ages. During her time in Philadelphia she also trained and took classes with the Modern dance Company, Koresh. After a few years she met her husband and moved to Orlando to start a family and open her own Dance Studio, AVALON DANCE.

Jessica Borowicz

Jessica BorowiczDance Instructor

Jessica Borowicz grew up in South Florida and started dancing at the age of 3. She has been dancing for over 15 years, and competing in dance competitions all over Florida since the age of 7. She attended Simply Dance in Port St. Lucie, Florida where she received training in almost every style of dance including tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, contemporary, hip-hop, Latin-jazz, Broadway/character, and was also  extensively trained in the Cecchetti method of ballet.

Throughout high school, she not only taught and danced with the competition team at Simply Dance, but also participated in the high school dance team, Drumline, and Symphonic band. After high school, Jessica went to Florida State University where she studied music. Currently, she is attending University of Central Florida in pursuit of her Masters degree in Elementary Education with minors in both music and dance. Her biggest passion is educating students and she is incredibly enthused to be teaching one of her other passions, dance, to young children. She hopes to inspire all of the children she teaches to be creative and passionate about what they do. Also, she works hard to ensure that all of her students feel happiness while dancing and also improve social skills and self-confidence. She absolutely adores all of the students she works with as well as the wonderful teachers she works alongside.

Taylor Kerr

Taylor KerrDance InstructorTaylor Kerr was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. She has been dancing for over 15 years and competed for ten years. Taylor has trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Contemporary, Acrobatics, and Hip-Hop. In her years of dance Taylor has learned Cuban, Cecchetti, and Royal methods of Ballet. Taylor has won numerous awards throughout her dance career. The two most prestigious awards she received were the Body Wrappers Excellence in Showmanship and the FDC Scholarship. She is now attending the University of Central Florida and majoring in Health Sciences in pursuit of becoming a Pediatric Neurologist. Taylor is so honored to be a part of the Avalon Dance Family. She is excited to share her passion of dance with her students!

Jenna Huber

Jenna HuberDance Instructor Jenna, who is originally from the out skirts of Philadelphia PA, started dancing at the age of 4. She has been dancing for 20 years and teaching for 9 years. She spent 8 years competing in dance and baton twirling competitions all over New Jersey and Eastern PA. At the age of 14, Jenna relocated Englewood Florida. The move had brought on many fabulous new experiences. She had the pleasure of working directly under Ms. Jennifer Kelly in an array of Musical Productions as well as numerous district and state competitions. Some of her favorite accomplishments include staring as “Lucy” in You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown and performing Seussical the Musical at State competition for over 6,000 attendants. Aside from theatre she found a home at And 5678 dance studio studying Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and Musical Theatre. While balancing all that she still found time to Co-captain her high school’s dance team, serve as an officer to the drama department, and work full time behind the desk at her dance studio. Jenna Studied Dance Studio Management at Florida School of the Arts studying under Freddick Bratcher, Lee Dando, and the teacher that made her fall in love with tap dance Mrs. Natalie Weld-Cozzani. While in college she taught at two studios, entering the competition circuit now as a choreographer. After college Jenna started her own mobile dance company, Hippo Motion, providing dance, drama, and fitness classes to day cares and preschools in North Orlando. One day she hopes to open a studio of her own and continue to touch the lives of children through dance. Teaching dance, tap in particular, has always been a passion of Miss Jenna’s and she cannot wait to make some amazing new memories here at Avalon Dance.

Jenna Huber

Lindsianne TaylorDance Instructor Lindiann started dancing at age three, in Orlando Florida, and soon realized her passion. Under the direction of Melissa Stokes, owner of Shooting Stars and Tara Perry, director of Timber Creek, Lindsiann trained in ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, modern, contemporary, musical theater, and hip-hop. This training allows her to expand awareness of dance in the community.

At Shooting Stars, she traveled the east coast of the USA and received many regional and national overall titles. Throughout her dance career she was part of a Victory Cup National Awards; Starpower 2014, 2013, 2008 and Nexstar 2014. Recently she was a contestant in The World Dance Pageant, a guest performer in Royal International Miss Florida 2013, recipient of a performing arts scholarship and involved in the filming of Lifetime's "Dance Moms". She is also continuing her education at Valencia College. Lindsiann loves teaching dance and wants to be a positive role model for the next generation of dancers. She believes in giving her students a strong foundation at a young age while at the same time having fun. She is thankful and blessed to be part of the Avalon Dance family!

Dominique Guerra

Dominique GuerraDance InstructorDominique began her training in 2010 under the direction of Carlos Agudelo and Lona Gomez at Ballet Spartanburg. There, she trained in many styles of dance including ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, hip-hop, tap, lyrical and ballroom. At the young age of 14 she was asked to join the professional company, allowing her to expand her repertoire in numerous ballets and contemporary works. She also received training from Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and Pacific Northwest Ballet, where she attended several of the summer intensive’s, greatly deepening her love for both dance and teaching. While dancing professionally with the company at Ballet Spartanburg, she taught students of the school in both ballet and jazz technique. She also had the great opportunity to teach at various schools and studios around upstate, South Carolina. Now, dancing professionally with United Ballet Theatre in Orlando, FL she is passionate and thrilled to be teaching at Avalon Dance.
