T'Kea Le Grande

Owner, Founder, Artistic Director

T'Kea Le Grande is a Philadelphia, PA native. Starting as a student in a local studio and studying with the original philadanco school, T'Kea always knew she was meant to be on stage. While in high school she trained at Touch of Class in west Chester PA under the Expertise of Mrs. Debbie Apalucci and The 76ers Dance Team. After High School she relocated to Orlando FL, where she received her degree in performing arts from Valencia Community College. At Valencia she studied and performed many forms of dance under the teachings of popular dance companies such as Limon and Ailey II. As a member of Valencia Dance program, T'Kea promoted the program on TV commercials, radio, and billboards all over central Florida.

During her Time in Florida, T'Kea has performed and Choreographed for the popular girl band, Cassiopeia. After college T'Kea relocated to her hometown where she accepted a position as the artistic director of the dance program at the Crozer Keystone Healthplex. There she taught Ballet, Hip-Hop, Caribbean cardio, and Modern dance to all ages. During her time in Philadelphia she also trained and performed with the Modern dance Company, Koresh. After a few years in Philadelphia she moved to Orlando to start a family and open her own Dance Studio, AVALON DANCE COMPANY. T'Kea Le Grande has been the owner and director of ADC for  over 13 years. Her Company has performed for the Orlando Magic, UCF Athletics department, Gaylord Palms, The Dr. Phillips  Center for Performing Arts groundbreaking event and much more. Her most recent works include , Artistic Director head choreographer and artistic director of Beverly Page’s Clare and the Chocolate Nutcracker.   “Miss T” Is also the Author of the inspirational children’s book, “You Can Dance Too.”

 

Jeremy Kozza

Hip Hop instructor

Jeremy Kozza was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley, PA.  His journey in dance began training at the age of 3.  A few years later he was introduced to Hip Hop choreography, and fell in love with the style.  He began working on choreography and participated in dance battles/competitions at the age of 17.  Being involved in street dance battles/competitions has expanded his knowledge on Hip Hop dancing, as well as introducing him to Club and Funk styles of dance.  Jeremy moved to Maryland where he expanded is dance knowledge and experienced many more dance/ performance opportunities. In 2016 Jeremy performed with R&B artist T-Pain.  From 2017 till 2020 Jeremy performed and taught dance for studios and boarding schools in the DMV area (DC, Maryland, Virginia). New to the Orlando area, Jeremy is excited to be a part of the ADC family! You can also catch Jeremy at the Orlando Magic games since he is a part of the 321 HYPE crew for the Orlando Magic!

Alexandria Bullard

Assistant Artistic Director / Instructor

Originally from Panama City Beach Florida, Mrs. Alex has been teaching for over 10 years. Even from an early age, she knew her place was not on the stage, but the supportive source from backstage! She wanted to teach, choreograph, create, and inspire. She has been with Avalon Dance now since 2015, and is one of our staples here. You might see her smiling face at the front desk, or teaching one of her many classes on the dance floor. Mrs Alex specializes in Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Musical Theatre, and Acrobatics. Beginning in 2016, she has had a large supporting roll in Avalon Dance's Elite Competition Team and Performance Team. She has produced award winning numbers, and more importantly, talented dancers. She continues to shine her bright light through Avalon Dance now, and for years to come.

Chynna Mills 

Dance Instructor

Currently a student at UCF majoring in Secondary education and minoring in dance. Miss Chynna  found her love of dance at the age of three. She  grew her roots with Nulook Dance Company under the direction of Carol Kudjo. She then continued her education with William R Boone High School Color guard where she discovered her love for contemporary dance. She’s worked with several local dance studios in the central Florida area, but found her dance home with Avalon Dance Company. Miss Chynna is also a professional dancer for Emergence Dance Company and an instructor for  William R Boone High School Color guard . She firmly believes that movement is beneficial to the  mind, body, and soul. Positivity is what she live by and  SHE IS a vibe!
